I keep getting a prompt that looks like the Apple prompt you would receive when you have updates to your software that need to be installed, only the prompt is for a Google Earth software update. This is what it says.
Google Earth auto-updates on Mac OS X
Mac OS X now requires that updates to Google Earth - starting with Google Earth 7.1.4 - use an installer package. Before the software is installed, Mac OS X will ask that you input your administrator password. This information is never shared with Google.
If you choose to not install the update when initially prompted, Mac OS X will continue to request that you do so once a week until the update is complete or you have removed the Google Earth app.
